Watch It! Today’s offering is “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.” I try not to delve into controversy other than to like or dislike the work of an actor or director, so, with “I Now Pronounce You …” I take a look at the comedy and the acting without commenting on the subject matter. Gay rights is the center of “I Now Pronounce You …” but, even if the topic is off-putting to you, here is a wonderfully funny film headlined by Adam Sandler and Kevin James. In “I Now Pronounce You …,” Sandler is Sandler and James gives his best-ever movie performance. “I Now Pronounce You …” is the story of two firefighters who marry so one can change the beneficiary of his pension, etc., to his children (his wife died and he forgot to do the paperwork). All in all, a solid comedy effort for everyone involved. So … Watch It!
