Pointing out errors in closed captioning is tilting at a windmill

All I can do is to continue pointing up the ongoing, pervasive and egregious errors in closed captioning. Of course, I realize after months of watching CC that it doesn’t rely on humans (unless a zombie-army of stupids work for it). The so-called “artificial intelligence” that uses “voice recognition” to create some of today’s CC is dumber than anything you can imagine. In this case, a documentary about aircraft has the “tale” of the plane. Sigh. I just need to write the “stupidity” of CC. I got this shot off our television on July 1, 2021, at our home here in Naples, Fla. Click here for all my examples of the stupidity of CC …  (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
