We visited our daughter and son-in-law in California recently and here’s the obligatory surfing shot! We checked out the Carlsbad State Beach and I got this shot on July 25, 2021. OK, OK … so it isn’t big-wave surfing and this surfer was close to shore (you can see another headed out to the break line in the background) … but it was neat to see for this native South Floridian who has never surfed.
