Watch It! “Broken Arrow” is a John Travolta action flick that you might have missed, but don’t continue to make that mistake! “Broken Arrow” is an absolutely great action thriller and it’s not a western. Travolta (along with co-star Christian Slater and supporting actor Samantha Mathis) makes “Broken Arrow” quite special. John Woo was directing his first film with Travolta (“Face/Off” would follow) and he manages to hit a home run with “Broken Arrow.” The story of “Broken Arrow” is a U.S. Air Force pilot played by Travolta hatches and tries to execute a scheme to steal two nuclear warheads. He gets his hands on them (somewhat briefly … and, being stolen nukes, they are “broken arrows” in Air Force-speak), but Slater and Mathis are his foils and you know who wins in the end. So, get out there today, find “Broken Arrow” and … Watch It!
