Looking on the big screen at your home today, I’ll recommend a very dark drama called “Panic.” Here’s a wonderfully acted film that dredges the bottom of the human soul. “Panic” is about a hitman who’s having a midlife crisis. William H. Macy, who is in the lead role, is the low-key killer who heads to a shrink when he gets depressed. In “Panic,” Macy crosses the path of Neve Campbell and falls in love as his midlife crisis blossoms. Although both Macy and Campbell do great work, it is Donald Sutherland as Macy’s tumor of a father who does the best job. “Panic” is a story that you might not be able to watch a second time, but it is totally worth your home big screen for the first time (since I’m sure you didn’t see it).
I’m not sure if you can find “Panic,” so make plans for it ahead of time on your “big screen” at home!
