Looking on the big screen at your home today, I’ll recommend “Top Secret!,” which is the little-remembered comedy from the Zucker-Abrahams team that brought you “Airplane!” and the “Naked Gun” franchise. “Top Secret!” spoofs espionage and the former Communist regime of East Germany. “Top Secret!” machine-guns spoken and visual jokes and, if you blink, you’ll miss at least two of them. “Top Secret!” stars Val Kilmer as a U.S. rock ’n’ roller who gets embroiled in the spy game (and lots of comedy) when he visits an eastern European country.
I’m sure that “Top Secret!” isn’t easy to find, so make the effort and watch it today on your “big screen” at home!
