Looking on the big screen at your home today, I’ll recommend five of the best comedies from 1978 to 2013: “National Lampoon’s Animal House,” “Caddyshack,” “American Pie,” “The Hangover” and “We’re the Millers.” While not an in-depth look at any one of them (I only reviewed “The Hangover” for my blog), I cruise along and point out why these are among of the best-ever comedies you’ll find on the big screen. It appears to be easy to put out a movie with some good
lines and few shots of decent comedy. It’s done all the time. What’s rare, is the film that is creative through stereotypes; the film that follows a storyline and segues in a proper fashion; and a film that you remember long after you saw it for the first time. Well, these five meet that description.
I’m sure that you won’t have any trouble finding any of the five, so watch it on your “big screen” at home!
