Sorry, but here’s the best I could do with photographing the view from our room at a hotel-I-won’t-name near the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). We stayed our last night in Southern California at the hotel because of the hideous commute a family member would have had to take to get us to the airport on time on a Monday morning. I tried to get a photo of the sign of the bail bonds office across the street from the hotel, but it didn’t turn out well on Jan. 30, 2022. In any case, there were many more bummed fans of the San Francisco 49ers football team staying at the hotel (their team just lost in the NFC championship game that day).
