Looking on the big screen at your home today, you should check out “Romancing the Stone” and “The Jewel of the Nile.” Here are two films that simply define the word “rollicking.” The original is best (so, what else was new even nearly two generations ago), but both have great adventure, a great cast and an interesting plot. Of course, the “Stone” in the original was a jewel, but the “Jewel” in the sequel wasn’t a stone (sorry, if that’s a spoiler for you). Both star Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and a very, very funny Danny DeVito and both are worth your time at any time.
I’m sure that you’ll be able to easily find both “Romancing the Stone” and “The Jewel of the Nile,” so make the effort for your “big screen” at home!
