I’m not a fan of Florida’s state bird, but one is making a home at our home

Here is a shot of the Northern mockingbird that has made its home in the crotons at the mailbox in front of our home in Naples, Fla., on March 9, 2022. Click on the link to see the details of this mocking bird, but I’m not going to repeat much. I don’t care for mockingbirds because I’ve been dived-bombed too many times by one of them. Although the Northern mockingbird is the state bird of my home state of Florida, I forgive my state. The Northern mockingbird is also the state bird of Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas. The state of South Carolina first had the Northern mockingbird as its state bird from 1939 to 1948, when it came to its senses and named the Carolina wren as its state bird.
