A static image such as this one does not completely show an emergency vehicle having to navigate a busy intersection. I got this shot today in the late afternoon (Monday, March 21, 2022) here in Naples, Fla., as I ran a late errand. You can see in the upper right that the little white light of the signal for emergency vehicles is lit. Still, the driver of the Collier County Emergency Medical Services vehicle had to pause, even long after the signals went it the vehicle’s favor. Sigh. Drivers, be educated about giving way!
