Look in my car’s mirror: You’ll see a vehicle that wanted to tailgate me in this slow-speed zone near our home here in Naples, Fla., until the driver noticed that there was a Florida Highway Patrol trooper handing out a citation on the road. The area of Orange Blossom Drive in North Naples has a 30 mph speed limit and it is usually patrolled by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. However, yesterday (July 7, 2022), the FHP was on the job. BTW … Collier County is part of the FHP’s “Troop F” … and don’t tell any trooper that he or she is part of “F Troop!” (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
