Looking on the big screen at your home today, try out “Head Office” if you want a critical, sarcastic look at corporate America. “Head Office” is the story of a young college graduate who gets hired by a corporation and then promoted because his father is a U.S. Senator and can help pass legislation that favors the company. However, “Head Office” is funny for a bunch of corporate criticisms (take the “corporate lessons” that include “… No. 79. When the tough get going, the weak get screwed.”), but you’ll really enjoy the work of TV legend Eddie “Green Acres” Albert as the CEO without any heart, humanity or ethics. “Head Office” was released in 1986, but, sad to say, too many of its criticisms remain even truer today for the weasels in corporate offices.
You’ll probably need a little effort to find “Head Office” for your “big screen,” but it’s worth it … so, get out there and watch it!
