Here’s the second in my series “Naples Driving Lessons” … it’s No. 2: How to drive through a school zone. My blog doesn’t support video or I’d show how this idiot sped through the school zone at Lake Park Elementary yesterday (Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022) while weaving through gaps in the slow-moving traffic here in Naples, Fla. Instead, I'll use this screen shot from my dashcam. The speed zone, marked by large flashing lights, was being obeyed by everyone but this fool. It’s too bad that the Naples Police Department, which often runs radar-backed enforcement at the school, wasn’t on hand to greet the moron with a citation. Ah, well, it’s not like that driver won’t speed in a school zone again.
