Looking on the big screen at your home today, put a little emotion into watching a movie through “While You Were Sleeping.” Here’s a romantic comedy that dodges all the potential pitfalls of that genre and comes off as endearing. Sandra Bullock headlines “While You Were Sleeping” and is wrongfully identified as the fiancée of a man in a coma (she saved his life and didn’t straighten anyone out on the mistake of pending nuptials). Bullock then falls in love with the man’s brother as well as the rest of his family. I can’t call “While You Were Sleeping” a true Christmas film (the story starts at Christmas), but that’s just quibbling.
You won’t have any trouble finding “While You Were Sleeping” and you’ll enjoy it, too, on your “big screen.”
