Looking on the big screen at your home … we’re counting down to Christmas 2022! And we’re a day away from the annual 24-hour marathon on TBS of the classic “A Christmas Story.” Here is one of my two favorites and it comes in second by a nose and you’ll get my recommendation of my favorite tomorrow. “A Christmas Story” has all the elements of back-in-the-day Christmas and, by extension, holiday ups and downs and all-arounds! “A Christmas Story” focuses on one youngster’s wish for a BB gun (“You’ll shoot your eye out!”) and his and his friends’ shenanigans leading up to the big day. Here’s my favorite point of Christmas movie trivia: What raunchy R-rated teen comedy was so successful that it allowed “A Christmas Story” to be made? Of course, it’s “Porky’s!”
Keep coming back each day until Christmas for my latest recommendation of a Christmas film. You won’t have any trouble finding “A Christmas Story” for your home “big screen” (just tune in to TBS), so, watch it!
