Today’s “must” movie is the sensational comedy “Big Trouble.” Here is one of my top five films that most folks never watched and everyone who missed out should watch it immediately. “Big Trouble” is simply sensational from the opening scenes to the final credits. Not only are headliners Tim Allen and Rene Russo great, the rest of the cast with actor’s actor Stanley Tucci, Johnny Knoxville (yes, Johnny Knoxville!) and the absolutely perfect Zooey Deschanel makes sure this is one film that shouldn’t have foundered at the box office in 2002.
“Big Trouble” was supposed to premiere in 2001, but the 9/11 terrorist attacks pushed back the debut date for the film. Too bad. By 2002, the studio had cut the marketing budget and filmgoers weren’t in a great comedic mood.
Still, today you can experience the near perfection of comedy on the big screen that “Big Trouble” represents. Find “Big Trouble.” Watch “Big Trouble.” Totally enjoy “Big Trouble.” You won’t be disappointed … I guarantee it!
