Today’s “must” movie is from the from the comedy troupe Broken Lizard: “Super Troopers 2.” Here is the sequel to the cult fav “Super Troopers” and it didn’t do well at the box office and it really isn’t very good … however, you’ll find that there are funny moments – especially if you enjoy Americans and Canadians insulting each other. “Super Troopers 2” is the extenuation of the story of a group of off-the-wall troopers in Vermont and their various antics.
“Super Troopers 2” can’t match up with the original, but you’ll have fun watching them fool around. In this sequel, a portion of Canada on the Vermont border has reverted to U.S. control (Vermont is southeast of Montreal, in case you can’t recall that area’s geography) and now the troopers are taking over law enforcement from the Canadians. Let the hilarity begin!
So, make sure you go out of your way to watch “Super Troopers 2.” You won’t be disappointed … I guarantee it!
