‘CREEPRS’ … the shoes? … the movie song? … something else?

It’s usually easy and straightforward to evaluate what someone expresses through a license tag. From fans of teams to aficionados of a sport to a personal philosophy or how you see yourself, you usually don’t have to take long to guess the meaning. Well, I came across this license plate and I’m still ruminating on its meaning. “CREEPRS” … now, is this for Creepers the shoes? Or celebrating the Harry Warren-Johnny Mercer song “Jeepers Creepers” from the 1938 movie “Going Places?” Or is is something else all together? At this point, I’ll never know. I got this shot as I left work here in Naples, Fla., on March 21, 2023. PS: I usually blur out licence tag letters and numbers, but when the owner of the vehicle is making a statement, I keep it in.
