A wrong turn brought me to a solemn moment

We’ve come to rely on the wonderful “maps” app on our iPhones, but they can sometimes still lead you astray. I was driving in Knoxville, Tenn., yesterday (Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023) when I made a wrong turn due to a rebooting “maps,” and wound up seeing this solemn sight: The entrance to the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. It is a chilling remember of veterans both who died in action and those who served and later passed. A big salute to those veterans and their families that live on. The U.S. flag is flying at half-staff in remembrance of the 18 people killed in a mass shooting in Maine.
