Here’s a shot of a tree that collapsed during this past week’s storm here in Southwest Florida. It’s a non-native species tree and has splintered before in high winds at our neighborhood here in Naples. What I’m trying to show is that during the late evening and overnight storm that blew over some weak trees, the electricity went on-and-off on a regular basis. HELLO! This is SOUTH FLORIDA, but our electricity provider FPL manages to have outages and intermittent service even when it just rains and gets a little windy. Of course, you can only guess what happens when real storms arrive. Thanks a lot, FPL, for not having a better power grid. I got this shot on Nov. 17, 2023.
