Today is Nov. 30, 2023, and it is the most important day of the year for residents of my home state of Florida. Today is the final day of the 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season! The image today is the “quiet” Atlantic area from the National Hurricane Center in Miami. Thankfully, we did not suffer a direct hit here in Naples, but we do sympathize with those affected by any tropical system anywhere this past season. Hurricane seasons run from June 1 to Nov. 30 each year and I look forward to each and every one.
