As 2023 comes to a close on this Dec. 31, here’s my favorite photo that I shot here in Naples, Fla. It’s a photo that I got when an iguana was blocking traffic! A driver stopped her car, blocked traffic and tried to “shoo” the iguana along by spraying it with her water bottle. No dice! The creature just reveled in the morning shower and stood its ground. I took the photo on June 26, 2023, and posted it as the eighth in my series of “Naples Driving Lessons.” One driver tried to cut in front of her and squish the beast, but missed.
