Development continues across Southwest Florida and a lot of it is focused on our beaches. Here is the most prominent beach property and re-development endeavor in Naples: The Naples Beach Club. Here is a comparison of photos: One taken yesterday (March 1, 2025) and the other in November 2022. Quite a difference from 2024 when the old Naples Beach Club was razed to make room for this dense development on the beach and that straddles Gulf Shore Boulevard North and consumes a good part of the former 18-hole golf course that was a signature of the community. Well, the “crane games” continue at the site! FYI … I tried to get the shot from the same place for comparison, but I was off just a little bit. You can note the road sign in the bottom left of both images.
