Today (April 25) is national Telephone Day in 2025 – and it is “celebrated” annually on this date. The day is supposed to commemorate the invention of the telephone and how its communications came to affect just about everyone on Earth. Of course, today, more folks use their smartphones for everything BUT as a telephone! And, here’s a shot from our home here in Naples, Fla., I got today of the bracket where we used to have a “wall phone.” Someone tossed out the telephone itself when we ditched our “landline,” but the bracket remains.
