I was glad to see FPL repairing one of the ground transformers in our neighborhood here in Naples, Fla., on July 27, 2025. The series of transformers, which means our community has no lines on poles, needs periodic maintenance, but FPL never accomplishes this task. They wait until one fails (usually during a hurricane) to make one repair. Well, I hope they spent a little time checking the whole neighborhood, but I’ll be a bit cynical.
