I am more than tolerant enough for those needing assistance while walking or needing a little extra time to navigate to where they are going because of previous mobility issues with a ruptured Achilles tendon and two knee replacement surgeries. However, it would be nice if folks weren’t so entitled that that walk in the middle of a lane of traffic, holding up vehicles as they take a leisurely stroll. I was at a parking lot yesterday (Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026) when two ladies got out of their car. One, who was using a cane, walked aside the line of traffic. The other? Paraded down the middle as if she didn’t have a care in the world and couldn’t be bothered by the traffic she was impeding. I got this shot off my dashcam near our home here in Naples, Fla.
