Each first Sunday in May is national Lemonade Day, in which the spirit of entrepreneurship through a youngster opening their own lemonade stand is encouraged as a step to learning how to run a company. The “day” even has its own website! Since today is the first Sunday in May (May 3, 2026) and since I haven’t seen any lemonade stands in our neighborhood – even though it is early – I’m using this photo of a glass of water ready for transformation into lemonade and a few lemons to curate an image in honor of the day. I got the shot in our kitchen here in Naples, Fla. (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
