Construction apparently continues on the site of the former (and great) Golf Coast Driving Range in Estero. Sadly, time moves forward and there’s no wasted real estate such as a golfer’s driving range. It has now been closed for some time and the site was purchased by the Village of Estero and will become part of the adjacent public park. It’s difficult to find any current information about the status of what’s being developed on the land, but it appears some work is already being done at the site as of early May 2026 (look closer in the larger photo taken yesterday). I got the most recent image at the site on May 2, 2026.
