OK, for today’s “todays” – you know, when a specific day is designated as a “day” for something – I’ll take care of three “days” with one purchase: Sushi bought at Publix – Naples Walk for national Splurge Day; that turns quickly to international Sushi Day; and that segues to international Picnic Day! So, one purchase covers three bases! So, this means that I splurged on sushi (spicy grilled salmon roll); I’m celebrating Sushi Day; and will have the sushi picnic-style on our patio. Each of the “days” is celebrated annually on June 18. I took this photo today (Thursday, June 18, 2026) at our home here in Naples, Fla.
