My ongoing series of photos of “Cranes of Collier County” brings us once again to North Naples and it shows not all cranes are huge and tower over construction sites. Here is what’s known as an “aerial work platform” (or, “bucket truck”) that was being used in tree-trimming work in the median of one of the area’s usually busy highways. Although a “bucket truck,” it is a crane and I photograph them and post the images on my blog. I was driving near our home yesterday (Wednesday, July 29, 2026) when I captured this image on my vehicle’s dashcam.
