Welcome back to my blog. Here’s my recommendation of a movie to check out today and hope you punch your “Ticket to the Movies!” OK, I need you to bear with me for today’s recommendation of “X-Men.” Bear with me because I reviewed a film that I’ve never watched. Not even a single scene. Never watched; nada … but I did write a review of it!
How? Well, to be completely transparent, I needed a movie where its title began with “X” in order to fill out having reviewed films with titles containing the first letter from each one of the alphabet. So, filling out “X” is “X-Men” and I can only look at the actors from their other work, but several of those I’ve never seen on either the big- or little-screen!
“X-Men” is a superhero film and I’m not enamored of any of them outside “Deadpool,” but you can call that a anti-superhero film. As I noted in my full “review” of “X-Men:” “… all this new superhero stuff just looks plain awful as it prints money at the box office. Really? You have superheroes fighting each other?” Sigh.
I can’t really “sell” “X-Men” in any way, so I’m not going to try other than to recommend you read my “review” just to experience a “review” of a film that the reviewer has never seen.
Oh, please don’t be a hater about me not having watched “X-Men.” I wrote a necessary “review,” that’s all! 😊
So, I say punch your “Ticket to the Movies!” and watch “X-Men.” It is available in the summer of 2026 only on the Disney+ subscription service. You will thank me later when you watch “X-Men” today!
