Although the “official” Atlantic hurricane season runs each year from June 1 through Nov. 30, stormwater maintenance is a year-round effort. The 2026 hurricane season doesn’t end for another eight weeks and the ditch cleaning equipment is in the neighborhood next to our community again. The Four Seasons neighborhood has stormwater ditches and this is the machine that clears them out. I got this shot this past weekend (Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026) near our home in Naples. Click here to see my other photos of the ditch-cleaner at work … (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
