While the parking lot between the Headquarters branch of the Collier County Public Library and North Collier Government Center is often a showcase for muscle cars, vintage cars or supercars (also a motorcycle or two), I spotted and photographed a most interesting car yesterday (Monday, Oct. 19, 2026). Here is a Fiat 500 L that is also known as the Fiat 500 Lusso and it was produced between 1968 and 1972. In addition, the license tag is a vintage Italian license plate used on vehicles between 1932 and 1976. As for the tag, Google notes: “(The) LE stands for the province of Lecce in Apulia (Puglia), southern Italy.” I was leaving the parking lot and on my way back to our home here in Naples, Fla., when I spotted the Fiat 500. Click here to see all my photos of vehicles from that parking lot … (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
