It was clear sailing ahead as we walked toward the Tree of Life after our early entrance to the Animal Kingdom park on Feb. 8, 2015. Once the park opens (early some days to resort guests), people bustle their way to the most popular rides – Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain – but you can find a lull early in the morning. Sorry, but it won’t last. We were on a long weekend at Walt Disney World when I got this shot.
