Today we’re still in the As for my movie reviews and it’s one of the best sci-fi thrillers you can find: “Aliens.” The original was great, but “Aliens” takes it to the next level, thanks to director James Cameron. You just don’t get much better in sci-fi than “Aliens” with Sigourney Weaver battling big bugs. All in all, “Aliens” has everything you’d want: A great plot; excellent writing; great cinematography; and wonderful acting – except for the lone sour note. Unfortunately, the talentless and stupid Paul Reiser is in this one as a smarmy corporate executive. Too bad, because “Aliens” missed perfection by this single thing.
