My alphabetical listing of suggested movies is nearing the end to the As today with “Assassins” – it’s next to last for the “A” titles. It’s a Sylvester Stallone film, but don’t be put off by that. It was written (mostly, but they hate hearing so today) by the Wachowski brothers (today they’re sisters) and “Assassins” is a cut above with Antonio Banderas and Julianne Moore. I’m not saying it is great cinema, but you can watch “Assassins” and not want to turn it off. Oh, well, I guess that’s my typical damning with faint praise. So, since “Assassins” comes around on the cable channels, keep an eye out for it. But don’t go out of your way …
