My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with the so-called “reboot” in film of “Baywatch,” which, of course, is the iconic TV series brought to fame by bounding bodies on the beach. I have to say that unlike simply horrid efforts unworthy of their name (take “CHIPS”), “Baywatch” is watchable. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a full-fledged star now and Zac Efron continues good work but not as nasty as with “Dirty Grandpa.” “Baywatch” stays true to its roots and I pretty much guarantee that you’ll like it. Certainly not as much as another extension film with Johnson (“Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”), but “Baywatch” is enjoyable.
