My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with the 1950s war flick “Beachhead.” It stars Tony Curtis and it is much more dramatic than his better work in “Operation Petticoat” with Cary Grant, but it’s difficult to compare since “Beachhead” is drama compared to the other being a comedy. “Beachhead” tells the story of soldiers in the Pacific campaign and … well, watch it. There’s no way to really condense the plot in this teaser review. You’ll like Tony in “Beachhead,” but its more drama and less combat than you’d probably expect.
So, I’ve begun posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
