My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “A Christmas Story.” I don’t have to tell you much about “A Christmas Story,” but the neatest piece of trivia is that director Bob Clark only was given the green light to make it because of his success with the now-classic raunch comedy “Porky’s!” Yes, that’s right … if not for “Porky’s,” you wouldn’t have “A Christmas Story.” It’s a holiday classic now and everyone knows you’ll shoot your eye out if you get a BB gun for Christmas!
