My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Electric Horseman” with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. OK, so Jane’s a most divisive figure in American history (it’s difficult, if not impossible, to forget her traitorous actions during the Vietnam war), but she’s a great actor. Put her with Redford in “The Electric Horseman” and you’ve got an energized flick that both entertaining as well as delivering a message. “The Electric Horseman” doesn’t rely on gimmicks or CGI-developed special effects (the biggest stunt a chase on horseback since this is story about a cowboy stealing a horse), so watch it. It’s fun to see just how good cinema can really be.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
