My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Friday the 13th.” Here is one of the most iconic horror franchises (along with “Halloween”) that launched a killer with a thousand lives and just as many deaths. “Friday the 13th” isn’t really great cinema, but it stands above most of its imitators. “Friday the 13th” has sparked sequels, reboots and untold numbers of Halloween costumes consisting pretty much of nothing more than a hockey mask. “Friday the 13th” is actually fun to watch – and you get Kevin Bacon in his fourth movie (of course, his first was “Animal House”).
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
