My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Get Shorty.” Here is a film taken from an Elmore Leonard novel and it’s pretty good. “Get Shorty” stars John Travolta, Gene Hackman, Rene Russo and Danny DeVito. All in all, “Get Shorty” is fun, watchable and the actors do a good job. “Get Shorty” isn’t director Barry Sonnenfeld’s best effort (that would be “Big Trouble,” also with Russo), but you’ll like it if you haven’t seen it. So, check out “Get Shorty!”
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
