Just about any photo taken on the Great Wall has interesting details. You can see just off center that a railing has been installed at one of the series of steps down into the wall (it wasn’t original equipment on the Wall). We were at the village near Ju Yong Pass for our April 2007 visit to the Wall on our trip to China with the Barron Collier High School marching band, which performed in a town square at Ju Yong Pass during the visit. We also visited Xi’an, which is the home to the internationally famous terracotta warriors.
