My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with the late great Burt Reynolds in “Hooper.” I just wrote a tribute to Reynolds, who passed last week at the age of 82, and in my opinion, “Hooper” is his best work. “Hooper” is the story of top Hollywood stuntman “Sonny Hooper” (Burt was one himself and there’s a lot of him in the film) and he’s being chased by a young hotshot, just as he had chased his girlfriend’s father when the older man was the top stuntman in the business. “Hooper” has funny scenes – of course – and Burt is good at being Burt – of course – and you’ll like this one – of course.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
