My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Johnny Be Good.” Well, “Johnny’s” pretty bad and there’s no way to hide the stench of this one. Still, “Johnny Be Good,” which is a football flick starring Michael Anthony Hall as he transitioned from “Brat Pack” to adulthood. The only good things about “Johnny Be Good” is the work of Paul Gleason as the sleazy high school coach, the work of Robert Downey Jr. and a couple of college recruiters who bicker so well in their brief time on screen in “Johnny Be Good” that they should have had their own sitcom. Don’t watch “Johnny Be Good.” Really. Don’t watch it. You’ll regret it.
