My movie reviews A-Z: Today … ‘The Killer Elite’

My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Killer Elite.” Well, “The Killer Elite” is from Sam Peckinpah (yes, the one you might be thinking about is a remake), but it’s not Sam’s best. “The Killer Elite” is OK because of headliners James Caan and Robert Duvall, but it never lives up to Peckinpah’s reputation. I’m not saying “The Killer Elite” is a bad film, far from it, and it is watchable … but it’s not up to the Peckinpah standard from “The Wild Bunch,” much less his best-ever “The Getaway” with Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw. “The Killer Elite” comes around on cable frequently, so you won’t have any trouble finding it.

I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
