My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Odessa File.” Here’s a good film that could have been better and it’s adapted from the Frederick Forsyth best-seller. “The Odessa File” stars Jon Voight as a German journalist pursing the story of how Nazis were being protected after World War II. The highlight of the film is the showdown between Voight and Maximilian Schell, who plays the big bad Nazi in this one. “The Odessa File” could have been so much better, but it is a cut above the usual conversion of a best-seller to trash on screen. Check it out!
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
