My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Role Models.” Here’s one of the films that I believe is absolutely great but never gets the notice it deserves. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the release of “Role Models,” but it remains fresh today. “Role Models” is the story of a pair of mismatched friends who have to drag the depths, look to find redemption in mentoring a couple of youngsters and then degrading themselves again before actually finding the redemption. Whew! Best of all, there’s a tremendous job by the best comedy actor working today: Paul Rudd. So, watch “Role Models” … again if you’ve seen it, but soonest if you haven’t.
