My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “That Thing You Do!” Like the Tom Hanks character says at one point in the film: “That Thing You Do!” is peppy! Here’s the story of what would be a one-hit wonder band. “That Thing You Do!” actually has depth and solid acting throughout, although Hanks makes the film. You can’t go wrong enjoying this one again … or again and again. The music in the form of the title song is memorable, too. So, don’t delay in seeing “That Thing You Do!” again.
